Hello! I’m Alex Hoffner, an Award Winning Photographer that specializes in Family & Senior Portrait Photography. I was named one of the Top 10 Photographers In Iowa in February of 2021, along with winning several awards for my portrait work at the state level of competition.

I am based out of the beautiful small town of Central City, Iowa! Home of one of my favorite places to photograph, Pinicon Ridge Park. I specialize in Family and Senior Portrait Photography. As of the moment, I am an on-location photographer. (My home studio isn’t completely finished yet, but fingers crossed it’ll be complete sooner than later!)

Each photograph that I capture is more than a work of art: it's a display of your individual talent and beauty, whether it be senior or family portraits, an extended family gathering, or a special event or place in your life, I would be delighted to have the opportunity and honor to capture your memories, milestones, and moments through photographic art.

My goal is to show the personality of YOU as naturally as possible. I will do my best to make sure that your photographs appear relaxed and real. Each session I do is unique and created with you in mind.
